Role Overview
As our HRIS Product Manager, you will own and shape the product vision for our HRIS-related capabilities and integrations within the Talenteria platform. You will be the bridge between customers, internal stakeholders, and the development team—translating HR and recruitment workflows into intuitive, scalable product solutions.
This role is perfect for someone who understands HR / HRIS processes in depth, enjoys working closely with users and data, and loves turning complex requirements into simple, delightful experiences.
What You’ll Be Working On
You will drive the product strategy and roadmap for HRIS and ATS integrations, data flows, and core HR-related features across the Talenteria platform. Your day-to-day will involve discovering customer needs, refining requirements, prioritizing the backlog, collaborating with designers and engineers, and ensuring that new releases deliver measurable value to HR and Talent Acquisition teams.
Key Focus Areas
- HRIS / ATS Integrations and Data Sync (candidate data, jobs, applications, events)
- Core HR and Talent Acquisition workflows (requisition management, candidate journey, onboarding touchpoints)
- Reporting & Analytics related to recruiting, funnel performance, and talent pipeline health
- Compliance, data privacy, and security in HR data handling
- UX improvements for HR users, hiring managers, and recruiters

- Define and own the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for HRIS and ATS-related capabilities within the Talenteria platform
- Lead product discovery for HRIS features and integrations by conducting customer interviews, workshops, and market research with HR and Talent Acquisition stakeholders
- Translate customer problems and business needs into clear product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria that are easy for the development team to understand and execute
- Collaborate closely with engineering, UX/UI, and QA to design, build, test, and launch new HRIS-related features and improvements
- Drive the design and optimization of integrations between Talenteria and external HRIS/ATS systems, ensuring reliable, secure, and scalable data flows
- Prioritize the product backlog based on business value, customer impact, technical constraints, and strategic goals
- Work with Customer Success, Sales, and Support teams to gather feedback, understand pain points, and identify opportunities for new or improved HRIS functionality
- Partner with Marketing and Sales on go-to-market plans for new features, creating clear value propositions, release notes, and enablement materials
- Monitor product performance and usage metrics, and use insights to iterate on existing features and inform future roadmap decisions
- Ensure that HRIS and integrations adhere to data privacy, security, and compliance standards, working with internal and external stakeholders as needed
- Maintain a strong understanding of the HR tech landscape, competitor offerings, and industry trends related to HRIS, recruiting, and talent management
- Act as the internal subject matter expert for HRIS topics, educating colleagues and advocating for the HR user perspective in product discussions
- Gather and prioritize customer enhancement requests, balancing bespoke needs with a scalable, productized approach
- Facilitate clear and frequent communication with stakeholders across the company regarding product plans, status, and outcomes
- Continuously refine and improve product management processes, tools, and best practices within the team
- 4+ years of experience in Product Management, with at least 2 years focused on HR tech, HRIS, ATS, or related SaaS products
- Solid understanding of HR and Talent Acquisition processes (e.g., job requisitions, candidate pipeline, hiring approvals, onboarding touchpoints)
- Hands-on experience with HRIS / ATS platforms (e.g., SAP SuccessFactors, Workday, Oracle HCM, Greenhouse, Lever, SmartRecruiters, etc.) either as a product manager, implementer, or power user
- Strong experience working with APIs, integrations, data mapping, and system interoperability between HR systems
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex HR and technical requirements into clear, actionable user stories and product specifications
- Proven track record of delivering features end-to-end: discovery, validation, prioritization, execution, launch, and iteration
- Comfortable using analytics and metrics (product analytics, funnels, cohort analysis) to make data-informed decisions
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal; able to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Experience working in an agile development environment (Scrum or Kanban), collaborating closely with engineering and design
- Strong user empathy and customer-centric mindset; experience running interviews, workshops, or usability tests with HR and recruitment stakeholders
- Ability to juggle multiple priorities, manage a roadmap, and make clear trade-off decisions
- High level of ownership, initiative, and accountability in a fast-paced, scaling environment
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, HR Management, or related field (or equivalent practical experience)
- Nice to have: Experience in B2B SaaS start-ups or scale-ups
- Nice to have: Familiarity with data privacy and compliance related to HR data (GDPR, SOC 2, etc.)
- Nice to have: Experience with reporting/BI tools relevant to HR analytics (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Looker, or in-app analytics solutions)
